You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains what we hold, how to ask, and how long it takes. It covers data you gave us directly and data we received from Facebook and Instagram when you messaged our page, commented on a post, or submitted a lead form.
Fashion Dot Young Laser India Pvt. Ltd. operates the Meta application FashionDot Social, which we use only to manage our own Facebook Page and Instagram account. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
Depending on how you reached us, we may hold:
Your name, phone number, email address and city - from an enquiry form, a Meta lead form, or a message you sent us
The comments and direct messages you sent to our Facebook Page or Instagram account, and our replies
Your public Facebook or Instagram profile name and picture, as Meta shows them to us
Business details you gave us for a quotation, order or licence - shop name, GST number, billing address
Service records - demo bookings, installations and support tickets raised for you
We never receive or store your Facebook or Instagram password, your friends list, or anything you posted anywhere other than on our own page.
Send a deletion request in any one of these ways. Please use the phrase "Data deletion request" so it reaches the right person:

Tell us the phone number or email address you used with us so we can find your records. We may ask one question to confirm it is really you - we will never ask for a password or an OTP.
You can also remove our app's access yourself at any time: on Facebook, Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites; on Instagram, Settings → Website Permissions → Apps and Websites. That stops any new data reaching us, but it does not delete what we already hold - so please send the request as well.
We acknowledge every request within 2 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days. You will get a written confirmation when it is done.
Deleted: your contact details, the messages and comments held in our system, the profile information we received from Meta, and your enquiry and demo records.
Kept, and why:
Invoices, GST records and payment entries - Indian tax law requires these to be kept for 8 years. They are used for accounting only, never to contact you.
Software licence records - kept while the licence is active, so it can be supported and transferred.
Anything a court order or a lawful request from an authority requires us to keep.
Comments and messages that stay on Facebook or Instagram itself belong to Meta, not to us. Delete those from inside the Facebook or Instagram app - our deletion covers our own copy.
