What fabrics can the laser cut?

Cotton, polyester, silk, nylon, lycra, denim, canvas and most synthetic blends. Not suitable for leather, PVC, or materials containing chlorine.

Does laser cutting damage delicate fabrics?

Modern CO2 lasers can be fine-tuned for delicate fabrics like silk and chiffon. Power levels are adjustable per material type.

How does it integrate with CAD software?

FashionDot laser cutters receive pattern files directly from the CAD software via USB or network connection. No manual setup needed per cut.

What maintenance is required?

Regular cleaning of the laser lens and mirror, and periodic replacement of the laser tube (typically every 2-3 years of heavy use). Our technicians provide scheduled maintenance.
