Can it be used as a blouse cutting machine?
Yes - that is how most of our customers use it. As a blouse cutting machine it cuts
front, back, katori, sleeve, patti and lining from a graded CAD pattern, sealing
every edge as it cuts, so the pieces go straight to the stitching table.
What is the blouse cutting machine price?
It depends on the bed size (600x900mm, 1200x900mm or 1600x1000mm) and laser power
(60W to 130W). We quote per configuration and offer in-house EMI - call

What fabrics can the laser cut?
Cotton, polyester, silk, nylon, lycra, denim, canvas and most synthetic blends. Not
suitable for leather, PVC, or materials containing chlorine.
Does laser cutting damage delicate fabrics?
Modern CO2 lasers can be fine-tuned for delicate fabrics like silk and chiffon.
Power
levels are adjustable per material type.
How does it integrate with CAD software?
Fashion Dot laser cutters receive pattern files directly from the CAD software via
USB
or network connection. No manual setup needed per cut.
What maintenance is required?
Regular cleaning of the laser lens and mirror, and periodic replacement of the laser
tube (typically every 2-3 years of heavy use). Our technicians provide scheduled
maintenance.
What thickness of fabric can it cut?
Everything a tailoring shop normally handles — cotton, silk, georgette, net, tissue and most blends, in single or stacked layers depending on the model. Heavy denim and leather need a machine specified for them, so say what you cut when you ask for a quote.
Does the cut edge really not fray?
The laser seals synthetic and blended edges as it cuts, which is the main reason net and tissue work becomes practical. Pure cotton still frays a little, less than a scissor cut.
What does it need in the room?
A fixed position, power, and extraction for the fumes. This is the practical difference between a laser and a plotter: a plotter can sit anywhere, a laser needs a planned corner.
How many garments a week justify one?
Roughly forty and above. Below that the machine idles and a pattern printer or plotter pays back faster. Ask for the payback to be worked out on your own order book, not a sample figure.
