What a measurement app cannot do
Measuring from a photo gets you close enough to sort a customer into a size band, to quote and to start an order. It is not a replacement for checking the points that carry the fit, namely bust, shoulder, armhole and neck depth, with a tape on expensive fabric. It also cannot judge posture or decide how much ease a garment needs. What it removes is the copying, the re-measuring of returning customers and the smudged figure nobody can read.
